These expeditions promise to be both challenging and rewarding, offering our students invaluable experiences in teamwork, navigation, and outdoor survival skills. We wish them all the best as they navigate through the wilderness and embrace the spirit of adventure. Year 12 Residential Trips to Cuenca: Meanwhile, our Year 12 students are eagerly preparing for their upcoming residential trips to Cuenca. This excursion promises not only cultural enrichment but also academic engagement, as our students will be completing the Science 4 Project of the IB curriculum. From exploring the rich history and natural beauty of Cuenca to going through scientific inquiry, this trip offers a unique blend of learning experiences that will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on our student's academic and personal growth. However, we remind parents to mark the 23rd of May on their calendars, as we will host important parent meetings. Alistair dazzled the crowd with his exceptional skills, securing fifth place in the sub 9 category, where his remarkable goals left spectators in awe. Meanwhile, Lucas made waves in the sub 12 division, clinching third place and proudly claiming the bronze medal. Not stopping there, Lucas also stepped up to play in the sub 13 category, where his team emerged victorious, triumphing over Vitality to seize the tournament title. Their dedication and talent shone brightly, inspiring admiration and pride among all who witnessed their remarkable achievements. We're thrilled to share some exciting news regarding the sporting achievements of our student, Lia Romina. This past weekend, in the city of Guayaquil, the National Championship and II National Ranking took place, accrediting skaters for the Pan American Championship in Ibague, Colombia, scheduled for July of this year. El pasado fin de semana, en la ciudad de Guayaquil, se llevó a cabo el Campeonato Nacional y II Ranking Nacional, que acredita a los patinadores para el Campeonato Panamericano de Ibagué, Colombia, previsto para julio del presente año. Nos complace informarles que la dedicación de Lia Romina una vez más ha dado sus frutos, ya que obtuvo tres logros importantes:
