David Jones Principal BSQ – Primary Dear BSQ Community, Exciting times are ahead with the launch of our enrichment trial week and excitement is building for the programme to begin after the Carnival break. A big thank you to the team involved with the logistics and organisation of these activities. The first week back after the break will also be ´Theme Week.´ During this week, students will learn about one of the United Nations Sustainable Deveopment Goals (SDGs) and decide actions that they can complete to support the goal. Lewis Hutchinson Head of Primary Reception A During the past weeks, Dragonflies learned about the Solar System and the planets around the sun. They reviewed names, size, color, shapes and facts like: "Saturn has rings." "Venus is the hottest planet." "Earth is our planet." Dragonflies were very excited to share their knowledge about the planets, and to identify the initial letter of each name. They created a Solar System book, where their creativity was shown using different materials to represent each planet. Finally, they made their best effort to copy the names of each planet to complete their book. This was a great activity to practice different skills like Literacy, Maths and motor skills. We are very proud of our Dragonflies! Enjoy the pictures! Fran Our Community Mila did it again! Mila won singles and doubles. on a long tournament.
